All Quiet on the Western Front
In All Quiet on the Western Front Erich Remarque talks about the soldiers living conditions on the battle field of world war one. Erich shows how life during war can change so rapidly and how the affects of war effect the soldier. In the time of battle Remarque tyies to show how people can change either with power of what ever they may witness from the consequences of war. Other soldiers become un-human like and have more animal like instincts which Paul becomes aware of. Paul also finds that death doesn't destroy live but the actual toll on the soldiers mental state takes them out of it as well.
