Martian Chronicles (Zach Meyer)

In Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles people from Earth come to colonize on Mars. This colonization process on Mars is a slow one at first because some things go wrong on the first expeditions such as in America where they had trouble making the first permanent settlement. There are many similarities between American colonization and the Mars colonization for example they both started off as a casual progression but eventually it gets to a point where everyone wants to go there and explosion of people come. Also both colonizations took a toll on the natives whether it was disease or attack by the colonizers. Bradbury writes about the scenery in a way that shows an appreciation for nature a way of showing beauty in the most simple of natural occurrences. In both types colonization they moved in hopes of a new better world, a place to live life better
